Let Your Therapist Know What’s Going On
We are here to listen and help you. We know you are coming for help to resolve your pain issues but tell us more! We want to know more about you, what you do and what you want to do more of! What is it that your current condition is inhibiting you from doing? This helps us determine what exercises, postures, and movement patterns will help you get back to being you more quickly.
It also gives you more things to focus on other than your pain, which has a positive effect on the brain. Focus on any signs of improvement in those areas. Whether it’s a postural thing such as being able to sit, drive or stand for longer, or maybe it’s a functional thing such as increased ease in climbing stairs, or squatting to pick things up, or more movement pattern based such as able to take longer walks, ride your bike, or finish your exercise routing with less pain and or increased ease.
